what is that smell???

I live out on Camp Sheilds (O'Donnell Gardens) and whenever the weather warms up , i get the stench of a pig farm, or something of the sort, that finds its way into my house threw every crack... It disgusting...
Does anyone know where the heck its comming from? Is there a pig farm around here or something else???:barf:

Maybe the way the wind blows from the HUGE piles of trash at the dump? We live inside gate 3 KAB and get that too sometimes.

I think there is a pig farm out back there, but I do know there is a crematorium out there. That should make you feel better. :-) Also there is a Dam out there with a nice park. Your kids might like it.

that area is so notorious for receiving the beautiful bouquet of a distant pig farm.

Warm weather...time for farmers to start fertilizing the fields! You will smell more of it on through the spring time. Pig farms smell worse, but usually you only get that smell when the wind blows right. The stacks from the incinerators at the dump and the crematorium are too high for that smell to filter back down to you.

There are lots of pig farms on Okinawa. Just a price you have to pay for soki soba. Maybe too high though.

I can't help but laugh; I just moved away from Camp Shields and yes the pig farm smells lovely. Just wait until it warms up:crying:
