What I found funny about this, is the following quote:

Earlier in the hearing, he fought back tears as his wife told the judge she would give her husband whatever support he needed to rehabilitate himself.

What makes it funny, is this. Husband spends $40,000.00, on the stuff, and his wife does not notice the drain on the pocketbook? And if she did, how could she possibly convince a judge that her support would help, after the conviction?
