"We smeared your name all over the whole world's media, but an apology is adequate. Thank you for your time" ~ Okinawa

Or did this person's name never come out?

Does anyone else find it strange that bribes are an encouraged form of settlement? Now People will invite all drunk service members to crash on there couch, just to wake up in cuffs getting oki-doked

I heard the same rumor minus the part about denial.

There was another rumor on here somewhere that it was his girlfriend's place, but she was out after her parents had come for an unexpected visit. The dude let himself in, surprising the parents. That seems to be the bulk of what we read on here now...unfounded gossip.

Tokutsu told the Okinawa Prefecture Assembly there was no need for further action against the young Marine.
There's also no need to provide details on this incident, such as the rumoured girlfriend theory. How convenient for them. sigh.

Not very common for charges to be dropped? What? Who are you trying to kid. I had an employee busted dead to rights for weed. They held him and he confessed. Then they let him go!!!! He was not the one they wanted.

I fired him after all that.

Not common. Give me a break!!!

Was he in the military?
And for weed!
Seems like the judge and prosecutors take a few tokes before they decide on the punishment because i have rarely seen people do that much time for weed!:D

He was a civilian. They held him for about a week. He cracked. He confessed. They set him free. I fired him.
