Any thoughts on this years "competition"?

I just don't see much energy from the "contestants."

LOL. are you serious? LOL. well, I liked the auditions, which are always amusing. i like the rock n' roll nurse and long blond-haired rocker guy. they won't win it, but i like them. i don't watch the show regularly.

You know I haven't caught ANY of this season past when they were going around selecting contestants from around the country.

I haven't managed to see ONE show since they have actually been in Hollywood.
So I don't have a whole lot of feedback. :/

I see the 16yr old with the voice issue made it. Kinda liked him.

I enjoy watching Idol. I must admit, to me atleast, the auditions part of the show is the best. Holy cow, what some people will do to get on T.V.!!

It seems as if most of the contestants this year have a lot of attitude. (not the good type either) I guess arrogance is what I'm thinking. But, who am I? I can't sing!

I really like the Australian guy...can't remember his name though, and the Irish girl...LOL, I can't remeber her name either!

My wife likes to tune in, and I'll hang out & watch it for a while as long as I'm suckin' down some brews while doin' it. I swear, some of those people who made it to Hollywood still suck big time. It's funny; many of the contestants you can tell, think that "attitude" & "the look" mean so much as opposed to actual singing talent. If you see some sexy-ass chicky or long-haired studly dude up there singing away......just imagine listening to their song in your car or IPOD......that's when you know they actually DO suck.

It's amazing how "the look" or putting a lot emotion into their singing can bend the public's opinion of a singer. Many just suck.

Yep, he may be harsh at times, but he's the only one telling it like it is...

Paula needs to be replaced...She can't say anything bad about anyone.

OMG, dude you hit it right on!!! She's the last person up there who should be judging anyone. It's like her mind won't let her even spew a negative word at all.

...And half the time she's obviously under the influence of something.. At least that can be somewhat entertaining ;)

I like them too!! More so her than him. But this yr hasnt really been all that spectacular.
