As for me, I am going to go to three of my favorite neighborhood restaurants, enjoy as much as I can from their menus, and linger in their atmosphere. It will be Coffee Casa for breakfast, Sunabe Gyros for lunch, and Gordie's Hamburgers for dinner.

I am going to shop much less with AAFES.
For things I can't find locally, I will order from online stores whenever possible.

Speaking of which, I found this motto at despair.com, and it fits AAFES perfectly, don't you think: "Customer Disservice: We're not satisfied until you're not satisfied." :rolleyes:

I believe in voting with my dollars. Even when I was in the States, I refused to shop at "big box" stores, to bank with "mega" banks, and just tried in general to be conscious of where my dollars were going (this gets harder and harder, as time goes on).

3. Not entirely, but yes somewhat. Since I'll be allowed to walk my baby through the park, will likely do so more often; maybe even interact with the locals. :scared:

1. I'm going to karubi daiho and getting myself some karubi! I'll also start geochaching again, got some coins I need to hide. Oh, and I'll take my dog on his full 3K daily walks I normally take him on.
