Hawaiian hospitality fills Ono Kau Kau

Lol, first they post a restaurant review for an off-base restaurant when barely anybody can even go out to eat there at the moment.

During our outing, a group of about a dozen Americans sampled an exotic combination of Hawaiian and Japanese dishes.
All non-military/SOFA, right?

However, one saving point is that apparently S&S lives in a different dimension than us.

Yes, here you go scukas a restaurant you can't go to at the moment.

However, please go and enjoy it as soon as the restriction is lifted.

Heh, looks like JU did the same thing this week. Someone wrote a story about a Tex-Mex restaurant you all can't go to! :D

It'll be posted tomorrow.

But at least our date will be correct!

My guess would be that the review was written a month ago and they were just holding on to the story until they needed a cheap little filler article.

So, the article could not have possibly been written earlier, and posted in the paper now? Don't you think Stars & Stripes was letting you know where to go when the restrictions are lifted?
Did the article read, "Go there now"?

If it wasn't for the media, our world (America and other democracies) would be a much different place. Be glad that Stars & Stripes is there, and can print almost anything it wants, negative or positive, about the military and world news.

Take that away, and we would be heading towards a dowward spiral that had no end.

I was in tokyo last week, and where we stayed was right next to stars and stripes pacific headquarters (or somehting like that, i really didnt feel like looking too far into it).
Well, every morning we would stop by the little paper machine to find out what is going down in okinawa, and they had the next days paper in their. It threw me off bad! I had to ask the front desk what day it was to be sure. On the last day we were there, they had the paper from two days later in there.
True story.
