I honestly can, because I honestly believe that the only people right now that are really carrying on and complaining about all this shit are the one's currently under lockdown.
The shit is blowing over, I wrote that somewhere else here as well.
We have to wait until charges are filed in the other case to see how long the shit storm stays I'll bet.

My crystal ball sees the reflection period ending within a week - after Condi Rice spreads her goodwill in Tokyo - then a curfew will be enacted as a replacement for the reflection period.

No, I think that is because the story that had been circulating the rumor mill seems to be true..that the guy had a girlfriend living in that house and (stupidly) went right it and crashed on the sofa only to be discovered in the morning by the unwitting parents. Just got blown outta proportion given the context.
He's still gonna catch hell from the military tho- even if it's just for going out without a "liberty buddy".
