I'm in search of decent Mexican food. The stuff that has flavor, includes some level of spice, and is not tacos.
I have been to Obligato's, albeit years ago because I was that impressed, and have heard ho hum things about Mikes.
I found some decent Chicken Barabacoa and Pork Carnitas in the freezer section of Kadena, but would like some fresh food.
Granted homemade is best, but sometimes I appreciate it when someone else cooks.
Suggestions?

Tetera (has 3 big tacos in front) between Foster and Futenma, outside the Foster housing gate to the right

there is a great place that does mexican food by camp shields. It's really big portions and priced well.

OKay when you are going to camp shields you are going past the PX gate, you are gonna go towards the bowling alley gate and food court gate. The taco place is about 30 seconds before the gate.
