Or would have questioning if alcohol was involved showed disrespect for the people who died. Come on JU. Be fair when you report or get out of the business.
The rules are VERY flexable around here and are only applied to help someones agenda.

Its the truth. I pulled up the rules and a certain mod knew he was wrong so he shut down the thread. Then the Admin of the site cant even reply to a request about the rules, Everything here is agenda driven with no regard for the rules unless it helps that agenda.

Ever think that your requests are unwarranted? A lot of the time once the mod team makes a decision, no one knows about it. They don't have to tell anyone except the people involved.
If your talking about the flag burning avatar, you've already been schooled on that. How many times do I have to tell you this is a dictatorship? DK runs the site, and makes the rules, along with the mods. If they decided something is ok or not ok, then that's how it is.
Oh and that mod shut down the thread because it was getting out of hand, and pissing everyone off. I believe I asked for that thread to be closed soon after you and NC started posting in it, pissing people off. However, I'll go no further on this subject, since it would be off topic.

The rules state that if a picture is obscene bring it to a mod or Admins attention. Ive done both, I am not the only American that finds the burning of the American flag as obscene. But all the mods want to point the the rules all the time except in this case. If anyone got schooled it was the mods/admin that had their own rules thrown in their face. Then in retreat they shut down the thread and send a infraction my way for stating Im not the one that makes the policy. Its a joke and shows how pathetic things are run around here. *Here comes another infraction* But lets let the obscene picture slide.

It wasn't obsence to a majority of the board. They saw it as eel making a statement and teaching a history lesson. Which is his intention with that image. It pissed you off, I know this. But rather then find out why he posted the image, you DEMANDED that it be taken down. Why? Because it offends you? You're not the only member of this board you know? Then in retaliation you post a picture of the Japanese flag burning, with the intent of pissing people off and starting a flame war. Now, who was wrong in what they did?

It wasn't obsence to a majority of the board. Of course not around here, doesnt surprise me one bit. They saw it as eel making a statement and teaching a history lesson. Maybe you should read some of his other posts and see some of his other 'statements'. Which is his intention with that image. It pissed you off, I know this. But rather then find out why he posted the image, you DEMANDED that it be taken down. Why? Because it offends you? You're not the only member of this board you know? According to the rules it shouldnt be here. But it does fuel the agenda that this site is going for. I am also not the only one that has said something about it. Then in retaliation you post a picture of the Japanese flag burning, with the intent of pissing people off and starting a flame war. Not true, I was told its freedom of speech, so I did the same thing to show how it feels to see a flag burning. It isnt a good feeling and theres better ways to express yourself. Now, who was wrong in what they did? EEL and the mods/admin that let him get away with breaking the rules. Why have rules if they are not going to be followed?
Maybe you guys should change the rules instead of just ignoring them?

YankeeGrl79 and Pchan (and whoever else), this is not a thread to talk about mod/admin action or the rules. YankeeGrl79, if you want to talk about admin and mods letting Eel keep his avatar and the rules, then take it down to the Forum and Feedback area.
Back on topic.

Are you honestly that dense? Ok, I'll say this one more time since you can't seem to comprehend it. What's obscene or offensive to you, might not be to someone else. So you, and maybe NC, got pissed off about it. That's only two people out of the entire community! Eel was trying to make a statement relevant to the situation at hand, while you were trying to piss people off. That's why you received a infraction, and he didn't. That is also why his avatar still remains. I don't know why this is so hard for you to understand this.
Maybe you should learn how to understand a statement someone makes before flying off the handle? I know it's hard not to get pissed sometimes, but it's better then getting all stressed out about something someone posts.
Exactly! You did it try to show him how it feels! That would be deliberately trying to piss someone off. So you admit to it, thus your infraction was just. I guess we can drop this subject then huh?
LOL yes, JU the anti american site:rolleyes:. For being anti american, we sure do have a lot of american users. I guess by being an american you are obligated to agree with and go along with everything your country does? After all, you're a terrorist if you don't:w00t:. LOL yet you go on about free speech. Give me a break:barf:
:edit: You have the rule in your signature now. Notice it says to PM the mod/admin team if you have a question about an image. Nowhere does it say that the image in question will be removed based on your accusations. It will be reviewed by the admin/mod team, then a decision will be made. In your case, it was decided that eel was ok in posting that picture.

Thanks, I was trying not to, but couldn't help myself. Can you split our off topic posts and throw them in the trenches?

The off topic remarks from the other thread have been moved here. This is getting heated and I want to remind everyone that just because a topic is in the trenches, that does not mean one is still able to attack and insult others.
Those of you who decide to participate in this thread, check yourself so that you do not get moderated. IF you do, don't cry about it.
You have been warned. -- TP

So when are you going to address my PM?
Oh and you better go "moderate" the original thread. Someone is still in there making off topic posts, even after being warned.
