When I lived in Yokohama, there was this dude who only had a giligan hat on and would sweep the road butt naked. I lived in one of those neighborhoods that was kind of set apart from a main road and only had a path big enuff for a motorcycle in front. I even caught him standing at the edge of my fence barking at my dog, all while he was naked. My neighbor, at least an 80 yr old would come out and go off on him....

Umm when you find something worthwhile to complain about the Japanese I will tell you my opinions and thoughts. I bash things in Japan just as equally, you are relatively new to this board so granted you wouldnt know that. I am an equal opportunity basher when the situation calls for it.:D

But to complain about them because of the situation you are in with this lockdown in effect, and attempting to either justify or excuse the actions of some in the military based upon the actions of the Japanese, then yes I will be able to match things like this shot for shot.

Otherwise this place will become nothing more than another Japan bashing site and that is something I will fight very hard not to see happen.

Oh and btw there are plenty of others here as well that swing their bashing bats both way as well.

don't assume by my join date or post count that i am relatively new to this site or its forums. The boards changed so much since I arrived on island, and you cant even surf the forums anonymously anymore with out being limited. First off the military never turned him over to the Japanese police, he was arrested by the Japanese police and taken into custody directly there was no handover anywhere.

You need to read what I have written all over this board......the ONLY people protesting here are those with an agenda, politicians, media etc etc etc.

Damn how many times do I need to write here, sorry I am tired as well.....In this incident the Okinawan people for the most part are with the bases.
