View Full Version : March JU Get-together

If you have interest in getting together for a March JU Get-together, which one of these days works best for you?

March 15
March 22
March 29

I can't remember which day Muku already had obbligations. I don't want to step on anyone's feet, and I definitely want to work around as many people's schedule as possible to make this another great evening.

The last two meets were great times. :)

Thanks DK, it's the 3rd Sat of every month. I put in for either the 22nd or the29th.

And I agree that the last two were great. Actually this last one was better than the first, probably because it was the first one. I have a feeling that as more people participate they will continue to get better.

Even though Jonjon's is quite a bit out of the way for me to come it is more than worth the time and $$ :w00t:

Next time though we have to make sure we dont leave any dead bodies anywhere though..........

cabin rental?

I thought that there were a couple people that wanted to rent cabins and do a day bar-b-q thing and then drink the night away. Ppl could bring the kiddies while we play horse shoes, bones, and cards. Just a suggestion, I know that I wouldn't be able to stay, but I'd still through down.

We were thinking about doing that when it warms up a little. Maybe in May or June would be nice.

Sorry Hatter but I personally dont want to play in a cabin with Bones:eek: :w00t:

You are correct though there was discussion about it and I kind of thought that like dk wrote we were discussing about doing it when it gets warmer, because in this cold weather I sure and the hell dont want to be in a cabin playing with Bones and you:eek: :D

So is sweetie going? My wife would have more fun if she had some other females to talk to.

Mine as well. How is the smoking there? The wife is prego so don't want to take her to a smoked out area. I can't remember if there is only smoking outside or what? I'll see if she wants to go.

Well, jyanjyan's allows smoking inside or out. Muku suggested that the smokers sit closest to the patio door, and it worked well. After the meet, I pointed out that maybe it would have been better if we smokers went out to the patio for a smoke, since swindland had her kids with her. And that suggestion received some positive response as well.

So as far as the next meet goes, I for one, won't mind going to light up outside, if it improves the comfort for the non-smokers at the next meet.

We just hope that more people start showing up at the meets.

Tp, won't show up. EEL won't show up. And I really don't think that the rest of their followers will show up either. Seriously doubt that "Macker" will show up as well.

Just remember, what happens within the forums, stays there.

I like to irritate people just for the heck of it sometimes. Thus, the stupid answers I post to the learned scholars. It's not as much fun as my "Habu" character, but we have to keep things civil.

As far as to the safety of TP, or eelcurb showing up, not an issue at my end.

Can't say the same for the other two posters that you had mentioned. Muku is pretty big, never met P_chan, and while I might be able to calm them down, I won't be risking any bruises to keep them from harming TP, or eel.

This is a fact. Sure there are some discussions about ideas for improving the forum and getting more people involved.

Anyone that actually thinks that they are in "danger" of anything really have other issues to deal with and in fact once you meet some of us face to face it really does make it easier to "talk" not argue with people the next time you post here on the forum.

I dont know about anyone else that was there, but I see this community of ours here getting bigger and stronger with every meet we have. It gives all of us a different group of friends that we can hang out with and have a good time together.

I am such a sociable guy along with hatter and everyone else too that in my opinion anyway people feel comfortable right off the bat...or at least after a few of thier favorite beverages:thumbup:

If she was a good wife, she would be telling him to f-off anyway, there is no need for violence over words. Just my opinion...that whole theory has always made me laugh.

yeah if it's just some guy trying to hit on her, I'll be fine, she can take care of that herself. But if they were to keep bothering her or touch her, then it would be a different story.

Something like this happened at the last JU meet, I just never told anyone. There was a group of marine-ish looking guys outside. One time while me and the wife were up getting food and drinks, one of them walked past her. As he did he grabbed her arm and said "hey you should come with us". She just pulled her arm away and said no, and he left. I saw that she had control of the situation, so I was fine. Now if he would have started tugging on her or trying to pull her outside, it would have been different.

I have no doubt that my wife can handle herself, I just don't like seeing it.

:edit: Sorry I mean the last JU meet I was at, which would be the one before the last one.

Well as long as you dont shave your ass muku. Check this story out.
http://www.craigslist.org/about/best/lax/35274458.html

Don't Shave That Hair!!!
I have recently made a mistake in my life, and I offer my story to you, that you may learn from my error. It all started, as many things do, with me having trouble shitting.

No, I was not constipated; this was not a regularity problem but a matter of technique. It seems my ass-hair had grown to such a length that tiny grogans were constantly getting tied up in the matted jungle between my asscheeks. It led to much frustration, with me KNOWING that I still had something to drop, but unable to shake the tenacious turd loose from its butthair dwelling. Eventually I would have to do two things: either reach down with some paper and try to pinch off the lingering loaf (which required careful precision to avoid smearing the creature all over my rear, especially since I had no way of seeing what I was doing) or just go for broke, start wiping, and hope that I could remove all the leftover fecal matter before the toilet paper reached its Can't-Be-Flushed threshold.

I was contemplating this problem, when I had what seemed at the time to be a bright idea. "Hey! This is my butt and my butt-hair, right? So why don't I just eliminate all the hair, and then my grogans will flow out like beer from a keg!" I said to myself. It is a statement that will go down in history with a lot of other regretted statements. "How many Indians could there be?" said by General Custer. "Looks like a good day for a drive!" by JFK. "There! America On-Line now has complete Usenet access!" by some idiot system tech. Such was my anal shaving idea.

I performed the operation that night, with a cheap disposable razor and a towel to sit on. Starting from the bottom, and shaving from the crack to the cheeks, I began the arduous process of ridding my ass of hair. Occassionally, I would have to clean the razor of accumulated hair and miscellaneous slime, which I did by wiping it on the towel. Slowly, my twin mounds and the between-ravine began to resemble the hairless cheeks of a newborn baby. Finally, I wiped the razor one last time, and surveyed my work. The towel was covered with a pile of hair. My ass was smooth as ivory. I smiled, satisfied, thinking my troubles were over.

Little did I know.

I now have a great respect for anal-hair. Like everything in this world God created, it has its mighty purpose in existence. It was only after I had removed it that I started to learn how much I had been taking it for granted. For one, it provides friction. I learned this the next day, when I walked out into the sun heading for class. After climbing two flights of stairs and starting to sweat, I started to notice something unpleasant. The sweat was accumulating in my crack, and was causing the unpleasant sensation of my two asscheeks sliding past each other with every step. I thought about going to the bathroom and wiping it off, but had to get to class. Eventually, I thought, it would dry.

Unfortunately, it did dry, but only after mingling with the microscopic shit- molecules lingering around my brown starfish. When I stood up after class, my cheeks were stuck together with a slimy sticky shit/sweat combination. As I made my way back to my dorm, it started to itch. God-DAMN, did it itch! Felt like a swarm of ants was making its way up and down my crack. Fighting to keep from jamming my hand down there and scratching away, I rushed back to the dorm.

Unfortunately again, this exertion caused me to sweat, and when I finally reached my room, my cheeks were sliding back and forth against each other like a pair of horny cane-toads. I quickly dropped my pants, and attempted to dry my ass off by sticking it in front of a fan and spreading my cheeks. As I pulled the two mounds of flesh apart, a horrible stench burst free and filled the room. Every dog within a 4 block radius started to howl. I had it worst of all, as the ripe aroma of festering shit/sweat went into the fan and blew back into my face. I fought to keep from heaving. And as I sat there, fighting vomit, my ass cheeks spread and dripping, with the concentrated aroma of my body odor mixed with the tangy smell of my own shit blowing right into my face, I had only one thought: "It will be like this until the hair grows back. Weeks."

Later on, trying to deal as best I could, wiping my ass at every opportunity, I discovered another wonderful use for ass-hair - ventilation. I attempted to launch a fart, only to have it get stuck between my asscheeks. Apparently, with no hair, the two pink twins can get vacuum sealed together, and the result was a frustrating fart that slid up and down between my cheeks like a lost gerbil.

As if that wasn't enough, I am now enduring further torture. As anyone who has ever shaved anything knows, when hair is first growing in, it comes in as stubble. Imagine your ass having the texture of a brillo pad. Well, that is what I am dealing with now. It is a hellish torture, and there are many times when I just look out the window and contemplate why I shouldn't just jump out and get it all over with in one fleshy splat, rather than endure this constant agony.

Friends, DON'T SHAVE YOUR ASS-HAIR!

I guess what I am saying is it one of those meets where people meet up, and the people that know each other talk to each other and the new people just stand around or what?

Its a meet and greet... No topics, just good fun and good company.:)

Hopefully the military folks wont be banned from drinking at off base establishments by the time of the meet.

My hubby is AD and we live on base so we are a very short leash. I'm unsure if we are attending still since A) it's towards the end of the month, mula is tight and B) have to convince my hubby to come with me to meet people I don't know

Luna people from here just get together and enjoy each others company. We all come from different backgrounds and have different experiences but the common thread is that we are all members of the board here.

The first meet was last year in November the 2nd in January.

Once the beer starts flowing and people realize that the person they are talking to isnt the ignorant, idiotic, dense, dumbass, stubborn, hardheaded, knucklehead, that they thought they were or had that impression from on the board it really turns into some fun.

It is amazing how posting changes in tone within the groups of people that have met each other at one of the meets. Once you put a face to the name, and have shared some food, converstation, and drinks, you get to realize that "Hey they are people too" :D and not a bunch of aliens.

Well may be PChan is an alien but he's  too  :D

So is the meet still on for the 29th or what? Is there going to be an after meet thing like last time? I'm still planning on going and would like to know where and when it's going to be for sure.

Might I suggest going to hank's sometime during the night? He is closing soon and I thought it would be nice to hit up his place. Anyone else agree?

When is Hank's closing?

To me it appears anyway that the 29th is the date, however it has been a bit difficult of late to get any kind of a response from dk about anything.

It was his poll here and the 15th is this coming Saturday, but there has not been any other discussion other than the 29th it seems because of the majority of votes for it.

A decision needs to be made and finalized I think so everyone can make their plans. I think that would be fair. What do you think P?

I agree, it needs to be finalized. I'd prefer the 29th, because it's close to a payday and not right after the exercise.

Oh, and hank's closes on the 9th I believe.

Ok, I would suggest giving dk a few days here, at least till Sunday to chip in any comments and if he doesnt than lets talk about setting up a new poll and getting a better idea about numbers for the 29th.

What do you say?

Anyone else that is planning to attend have any comments?

Yes, the 29th is great. Jon Jon's is best for me. I have another company function to attend the same evening, so I'll be late. I'll probably show up around ten-ish.

Somebody, throw up an "are you planning to attend the JU meet on the 29th" poll/thread so that I know how many people to reserve a table for. Thanks. :)

Looking forward to it.

If you are planning to come around 10 the party will for the most part probably be over.

Seeing as how our military friends can not stay out past 10 and have to be on base by that time.

For some of us planning on attending we were talking about starting earlier as well, instead of the 6:30-7ish start, start from 6:00 or from opening time.

Well, you just need to duck out of that other (less important, interesting) thing earlier, dk! There are a lot of us who want to meet you. : pout: We think you should show up no later than 8:00 p.m. :D

Socal dont know if this applies to dk but....

March is the end of the Japanese fiscal year and there are countless numbers of retirement and going away parties at the end of he month.

Most of them of not mandatory, but unwritten rule mandatory, to attend. They can get long and if someone ducks out in the middle of the cerermonies, meaning while someone is giving their going away or retirement speech it would be considered seriously bad form.

Even leaving the room to take a leak while these speeches are being given is sometimes akward.:-|

If this is the case it really is understandable while he couldnt attend the JU Meet earlier.
