I find this article quite interesting. I just can't see mainstream Japan allowing it's salarymen to go to kariyushi wear. I've seen it all over Okinawa, and I've seen it at all of the resorts I've visited in the mainland, but I had not realized that city offices in mainland had made the switch also.

I find it hard to believe that the average Japanese would even entertain such an idea if it were presented to them by the company. Image seems to be such a big issue there.
