sorry guys but this is not a plug, rather I have to put this out there. While I'm sure it's no secret that one of the contracts for my company deals with Satellite Installation. I need to get the information out that anyone can view AFN prime via a VHF antenna. 99% of the current rental houses have not only that but CS/BC satellites. All you have to due is plug into the coax outlet then to your TV and do an auto program. You will now be able to view AFN prime in addition to several Japanese channels. The reason I mention CS/BS satellites is that from time to time they have bi-lingual movies and shows.
I am amazed that we regularly have customers that have been watching the same dvd's because they thought that they had to have a dish to view AFN
For further information just PM me- thank you for your time and help spread the word:thumbup1:

What actual UHF or VHF channel is it on? Is it limited power, so just reaches mid-island area?

I am referring to AFN prime which is either channel 6 or 8 depending on were you purchased you TV. VHF antenna pointed toward Awase Golf course. On a side note the Japanese channels can be viewed best via a UHF antenna.
