Does anyone know where to find the self adhesive carpet squares that are showing up in all the renovated homes on base? All I can find are the 50 cm x 50 cm squares at the Make Man stores that aren't adhesive and they are very expensive.

Please help or give suggestions on what you did to carpet your home.

Thanks for the help.

Way back the Eagle Hardware offered the carpet squares as a self help project. I haven't been in one in awhile. It is possible they are offering it again. I would stop by there and ask as a start. It's FREE!!!

Doesn't the Foster Furniture Mart sell carpet squares? Not sure if it is the same as what you are referring to as I do not go to base housing often.

Yeah Doc the furniture store on Foster sells them as well. You have more choice in color that way and there is more to them than the ones given through the Self Help. Free is good if you can get it. Especially for someplace you won't be staying at long. :D

If you purchase them at the furniture store are you going to have to remove them when you move?

The base self-help store you get to do it, have it checked, then be done with it. No removing it or anything necessary when you move.
But that only works if you are living ON-base. Can't get self-help carpet for off-base housing.

Checked at Eagle Hardware and they don't seem to know anything about carpet or carpet squares. My neighbor said that's where he got his about 4-5 yrs ago, I'm thinking they stopped doing that whole deal or they are just giving me the run around.

I'll have to go over to Foster and re-check out their stuff.

Thanks for the inputs
