I have always heard that Okinawa was the place ot go if you were looking for "Adult activities." So far I am not impressed. Am I just not seeing it or is this a myth?

Depends on what your referring to by "adult activities"....there are tons of things to do on this island if you want, but if you are looking for sex, well, go to gate 2 and have at the sausage fest.

Really? :ohmy: I didn't know that there was a problem, at least not since the seventies. heh.

In the non-sexual adult activity alchohol side, try the pineapple factory. They have a nice wine section, I hear. Any izakaya (neighborhood diner with a bar) will cater to your desire for alchohol also. You can sample many types of sake/awamori.

There is also parasailing, deep sea fishing, SCUBA diving, snorkling, horsebackriding, walking around old ruins like castles and such, or booniestomping. You could sign up with the Single marine program or MCCS, 18th Services or ITT tour. They're in the book. Get out, have fun and watch your step. :thumbup1:

Actually, there is a huge "swinger" movement in Okinawa. There used to be orgies in certain outdoor areas around Lester, and then moved around the Sunabe area. There's a beach around Miyagi island that used to be a hotspot for drugs and sex.
A stripper friend of mine informed me about the swinger activities in Okinawa, and especially on Kadena. The add "Codes" are in Japan Update classifieds as well...if you know where to look.

I've been to U-time during my single days:D, and my buddy loved the place. Yes, they do give happy endings, but you don't have to get one. The massage itself is very relaxing. After they massage you, they wash you as well:thumbup:

If I remember, U-time is 5,000 yen for a 40 minute massage and around 6,500 for a hour massage. Add1,000 yen if you want a specific girl.

Not really in the gutter, but 'Adult Activities' are synonymous with 'sexual content' because everything else is for most ages.

I don't think one's mind is in the gutter neccesarliy when one equates "adult activites" with something of a sexual nature because the part of America where I am from anyway usually uses the term adult with things linked to alcohol, gambling, or things of a sexual theme. Other than that you have "adult classes" but not much else that I can think of. Well..adult diapers maybe.
