6th Gen Ipod

Just wanted some input here. What do you guys think of the new 6th gen Ipod? I recently got one and was wondering if anyone else had one and what they thought of it?

So far, I don't have any complaints. It's an upgrade from my old 4th gen ipod, so I'm happy. That was the main reason why I wanted a new MP3 player. My 4th gen was old, no color screen or video capabilities, and it was only 20GB. I paid 300 bucks for that once it was brand new, and now the news ones cost 250 bucks and they're 80GB.

I was going to get a zune, because I don't like the way apple converts the files and you can't share them with other ipods, and a buttload of other restrictions on the ipod. But, I've heard some bad things about the zunes and how they like to crap out. A buddy of mine says his zune bugs out for a while everytime they release a software update. I really don't feel like dealing with that, I've never had any trouble like that with my old ipod. Also, the 30GB zune only costs 150, but I wanted something bigger. The 80GB zune is the same price as the 80GB Ipod, so no problem there.

Opinions and horror stories are much appreciated:D

Oh and of course there was the ipod touch. Which is cool, but I see it breaking easily. Not to mention it's more expensive then the normal ipod, and you only get 16GB. That would be a downgrade IMO.

I prefer IPods, I have a 5.5th generation and an Ipod touch. The 6th did offer me anything over what I had with the 5th. I bought the touch as an impulse buy but I like it a lot. Never had a problem with either one. I have had the touch for 3 months and the 5.5 for 1.5 years.

The oldest son got the 30gig zune for Christmas....we paid $79 for it.
So far no real issues and he is using the crap out of it.

As I have posted previously, we have an anti-iPod person in the house so except for tonight, checkin out a friends nano & another friends iTouch I have no experience with them.
I didn't even realize they had THAT many generations of them....guess I need to catch up a little. :)

I never had a single problem with my 4th gen, and I expect the same with my 6 gen.

My buddy said the same thing about his zune. He never had any problems with it, until the last software update. But he said that after a while his zune "gets used to" the software update and works fine.
