Can anyone translate this for me. I can't remember what Junko wrote on the match box.

Thanks, I appreciate it. One nice thing about it being written in Japanese is that what ever it says, my wife won't be able to read it. :D
If it were in Korean, then I might have to keep it hidden. :)

It says: Joe-san, watashi wa anataga skidesu - Joe-san, I like you.
The pisture below has two names, Junko and Joe

Oh I missed the middle part, the whole reads:
Joe-san, domo arigato watashi wa anataga skidesu.
Joe-san, thank you, I like you.

As if half the people here can't read it, and the other half can't get it translated? :D (for those who can actually see the photos)
You should have been cool and told Ox it said something real romantic and sexy!

Thanks everyone. I appreciate the replies. As far as I know it could have said "Joe, you are a donkey" :D
It would be nice to know what kind of life the people that I knew and cared about while I was on Okinawa have had. Hopefully they have all done well and are happy with their lives.
There are only 2 people that I knew when I was on Okinawa that I have stayed in contact with all of these years, my Army buddy Bill and his wife Harumi.
I think I will call them this weekend and wish them a Happy New Years instead of sending them an email.
