Anyone have one? Are they worth it in your opinion? Seems like it to me, much bigger HD and the HDMI connection is a plus. I also heard it actually performs better?

I've never had a problem with mine. There is also a three year warrenty on the thing, and if it blows up, I'll be covered.
HDMI really isn't all the great. It's better, but that much better.

HAHA< the rumor that ALL 360s are junk. When they first came out there was the perception that they would overheat, get the red ring of death, etc....
After analyzing it, there was a 20% failure rate on the new systems, which is average on any new electronic device. There were also a bunch of idiots who played the system for 3-4 days straight and burnt it out. It was alot of bad pubilicity over nothing. The 360 is a great system and I had mine for over a year without one problem.

Ok heres the deal, you can get a White one with the new 175w power supply. They dont run even close to as hot as the older ones with the 203w power supply. Theres a sticker on the side of the box that says how much wattage they use. I just found one that had a 175 watt power supply and no heat problems. The back of my 360 doesnt get even close to as hot as the ones my friends have. I found mine at Camp Foster a couple days ago. The reason why they are 175 watts are because they have a new chip (Falcon) which doesnt need as much power to run. I also was surprised to see that it had a HDMI output as well. So IMO, the best deal is the White 360 with Forza 2/Ultimate Alliance and HDMI. Just make sure you get one thats 175 watts. Hope this helped you

Just make sure it's in a well ventilated area and you won't have any heat problems. Also, keep it on it's side, don't stand it up, it constricts airflow once it's standing up. Also don't use those junk fans they sell to keep it "cool". I've seen a system overheat because of the fan.
