Well I did not read the whole of all Christian related publications that were published and I don't know what they are all about.

I have only been here for a few decades, did something happen that made him so mad not to come back yet before I was here?

For some, Jesus is the backbone of this world. (http://www.japanupdate.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2954)He is one of the few people who will always find an answer, perform a miracle and respond to your prayer -- well sometimes. I really hope he will come back because for me the world is not the same without him.

I mean it is Christmas and already 2000 years late! For Christ's sake, enough already!! Comet back Jesus!!

It is sad that he left, people enjoyed his miracles. What sucks is it was over something small -- a small crucifiction, yet significant to him, but hey...he resurected himself so what's the biggy, eh? I can't blame the guy for standing by what he beliefs in, even if everyone else ridicules him for leaving over something small and not coming back for so long.

Jesus needs a thicker skin.

Since that time, Pchan, a new precedent has been set since then. It is no secret that the moderating team and admin have been wanting to reign in the rather too lenient use of words in addressing members. I am not saying you cannot still ask some questions, but "asshole" is a common pejorative. Just take it down a level or two -- that's all.

Jesus was usually the first with a miracle -- Johny on the spot he was! And I miss that he could make wine for me whenever I want it, too, since there isn't as much good wine or miracle making being done lately.

But he was also often first to overblow some slight to his sense of moral righteousness, his personal opinion, or in defense of something he thought insulted someone else's. Hey, remember that day he got pissed at the Temple and went in and overthrew all the tables and freed the animals? A ruckus ensued when his cult follower and P_nut (http://www.japanupdate.com/forum/showpost.php?p=49863&postcount=4) gallery jumped on - lots of accusations and unending namecalling. I don't miss that.

His scourging was a terrible thing to see. We could do without that in his 2nd Coming.

It's one thing to post something that will tick people off of other religions. On the other hand, if the God who generates that kind of a Bible has "devine" status, then people will start to feel that he has an unfair advantage. He's able to lightning bolt people without fear of reprisal. He's also enabled with the power to go back and change history that he feels offended by, even though people are praying to him and exercising their free will that he gave them.

Zeus, or Thor, would make much better "gods", IMHO.

It's a "Win-Win" situation for everybody. Jesus can still hang around invisible as much as he wants to, and the people praying to him can do so without fear of reprisal. The above named gods have a proven track record within the "Ancient World", and they enjoy a huge historical base.

It really is quite easy. No need to go ad hom on someone. Besides, many people have come to the point where they do not want threads to turn into discussions about me, but want the threads to stay on topic.

As much as I have disagreed with you in recent days over your ideas and opinions, have I ever said anything negative about you directly using the pronoun "you" directly at your person?

Somehow for the shortfallings you see in me, I think you can forgive me and we could possibly still discuss civilly without calling each other names or disparaging one another, can't we? Well, I absolutely have no problem with anyone questioning religion or doubting the existance of God or that Jesus is the savior of the world. What gets me amped up is "certain people" here repeatedly gleefully bashing and mocking religion over and over. One could claim that it's fair game, it's a wide open subject, open for debate, comment or questioning.

Another thing, when I hear "AR gets bashed all over the place here on the forums", that's not good enough for me. I'm seeing a whole lot of sorry-ass one-liners disrespecting religion......where, me...personally, I wouldn't just keep bashing AR, even though I may not agree with it. I do try to show respect to people.....if it's reciprocated.
