...ok..I'm driving the damn thing! I believe Jacksonville can go far into the playoffs! With Taylor and Jones-Drew out of the backfield and Garrard playing like he is the offense is dangerous.
The defense is tough! I think this is the only team right now that could give the Pats a run for the money.
They are slated to play the Chargers in the first round, then if they win, they meet the Pats in the second round!

The Steelers will win it against the Jags. They have no playoff experience, and Garrard threw like his first INT against them. They just barely pulled it out against the Steelers. Steelers will can the Jags, they blow.

Jags arent even gonna make it through the 1st round...they cant and wont pull it out against the chargers...LT is on a roll and wont be stopped. Even if they somehow pull a miracle and beat the chargers...no way in HELL to beat the PATS...too much for any team...Jags are good, no doubt, but got a bad schedule in through the playoffs

Good points, I think they're out in the first round,

Assuming the Browns make the playoffs (which they should) you are correct. At the time I created the thread though the lower seeds were still up in the air...so was the Chargers position (which still is).
The Chargers will wrap up the 3 seed this weekend...as they can beat Oakland with their eyes closed. But right now they could still be the 4 seed if they were to lose and a few other things happen.
Same with the Browns...they are not locked in...yet! We will have to revisit this scenario after this weekends games are in the books.

I'm with the Doc on this one. Watch out for the Jags in the playoffs.
As far as the Steelers go, who is going to run the ball? Willie Parker is out for the remainder. I know Najeh Davenport stepped in last week and looked like a stud, but I watched (and rooted for) him carefully when he was a Packer. He is not a consistent, every-down RB. He tends to get hurt when the carries start adding up. Not to mention, every week in the playoffs he will face an above average, if not excellent, defense. Defenses that will hit hard.
I see the Jags making the AFC championship game. From there, anything could happen. The Pats CAN be beat, although it hasn't happened yet.
Peace,
BK out
