You know there are Christmas movies that you'd recommend other people watch. Sometimes AFN has some of our favorite movies on TV. Most of us usually rent our favorites or already have them in our library to watch. We typically enjoy taking them out once a year to watch with family.

This is not about those movies. I'm currently watching the Disney Princesses' Christmas. It's horrible! You'd think it was new short Christmas stories about the princesses, but it isn't. It's the princesses at the theatre with their princes watching Christmas acts on screen. These consist of mostly really old Christmas cartoons from the forties and up set to original Christmas songs, which are basically ones no one knows. These old Christmas cartoons are charming in their own right. There's no need to dress them up as modern Disney princess Christmas cartoons.

Okay, y'all can talk about Christmas in general if y'all want to do so. :D

I'm currently watching the Disney Princesses' Christmas.
Why, why, why, why, why. That just sounds lame. Even if you have kids, throw on the Grinch or Elf or something. "The Disney Princesses' Chrismas" just sounds awful.... Tell me it wasn't your idea to rent that? Or is it actually on TV right now?

And all the Whos of Whoville cried boohoohoo...

Every Christmas dinner in high school, one of our teachers read The Grinch Whole Stole Christmas. Being the cantankerous, drunk, s.o.b. he was, he gave it his own twist. :sniff: I miss him sometimes... or maybe it was the warm smell of whiskey coming from him in the heat of the lodge fireplace.
