Just saw this movie tonight. Totally blown away by it.
It is about a rivalry between two magicians set at about 100 years ago. You never see the ending coming, and when it does, you will be pleasantly surprised -- or at least I was.
The Yomiuri Shimbun (http://www.yomiuri.co.jp/dy/features/arts/20070609TDY19002.htm) gave it 5 stars out of 5 in its rating of it. I can't even recall when they gave 5 stars to a movie. It must be years ago that they had.
