I know that it's hard for many of us to get together... but that doesn't mean that we can't have a get together.

I suggest that we have a poker night. One night out of the week that we all meet in the Texas Hold'em room and play for an our or so...

It's hard for me to ever find an hour of freetime anymore, but if you guys find a time to set aside, I'll definitely try to pop in every now and then.

Now isn't the best time. I will try to poke my head in for a few games from time to time, but I barely have any freetime.

In fact, my weekend is almost over and I'm still waiting for my classroom group to hand me their crap so I can stay up way too ******* late writing another stupid paper tonight... And yeah, the assignment is due today...

Those guys driving me up the freakin wall... :cursing:

But on topic, yes, I want to play cards with you all. I just hope I can.

LOL. I'm not even sure how to play that game, but tried it the other day and I lost. Hahaha....the blackjack is taking my credits though.

Yea actually I was up, but then lost it all. I was almost to 100k. I knew I should of stopped, but then got alittle too greedy. lol.

Yep, I think we all know that feeling but I never got that high. I was up to about 25k on roulette and lost it all on 1 spin. Have to quit when your ahead sometimes.

Blackjack is easy to win at, assuming you have the time and money. Just keep doubling up every hand, eventually you will come out ahead. Unfortunately your not allowed to do this IRL.

thanks, but don't need to share with me, sweetie. we're betting on folly for the most part; hoping on beginners' luck. ;) I don't really know how to bet, but I know how to play. I figure, if you can bet a vertain way, the button will be available to push. otherwise, you can't click the button. heh. when I stayed with my friends stateside last year, we watched a lot of poker on tv. it was like watching golf; dull as paint drying until the very last stroke or move.

So how did the poker night go? I wish I could have made it. I would really like to get a real poker night going. If anyone is interested, lets set something up. For me, fun would be paying 5-10 into a pot, play till one person is left with all the chips and they win the pot.
