Total lack of originality when it comes to movies.
We took the kids to Alvin & the Chipmunks today & saw the preview for speed racer.
I gotta say I was more inclined to give it a fair chance BEFORE seeing the preview than after.
Looks horribly LAME!! Even to Temp's standard's which put up with a fair amt of lameness. :)

They didn't make the actors talk like they did on the cartoon, you know really fast and stuff.

It doesnt look that bad. However, not a big fan of Christina Ricci's acting. The kid playing the main character is the kid from, "Girl Next Door."
John Goodman...I like him. The actors will probably make the movie.

My husband is really into speed racer and so is my son. So much so that they got the Mach 5 ornament for the Christmas Tree. They will be going to see it if it makes it over here and are sadly excited.
