Recommend me some flicks!

here's my suggestions:

"Grandma's Boy" (rated R, comedy)
"City of God" (rated R, drama, subtitles)
"Old Boy"- Korean (rated R, drama, subtitles)
"Spirited Away" (rated ?, animated, subtitles)
"The Host" - Korean (Rated R, sci-fi/action, subtitles)

ok... that list isn't very long but I'll have more when I can think of them!

also, these movies are mostly foreign or not widely known

Don't forget surf's up. I watched this movie last weekend, and I was really suprised. It was funny even for a kids movie and I enjoyed it!

Did the finding Nemo sea turtle turn into a chicken?

That chicken looks stoned in the picture, which is pretty fitting, I'd imagine. :p

Sniff!!!!:crying:

Be advised that I've just filed a suit against you, and P-Chan, with Judge Judy.

I'm going to sue you for all of your combined credits, on the basis that you two are continually persistent in making me sound older than I actually am.:army:

:eek::eek: Just got an e-mail from Judge Judy, or at least one of her staff. It appears that we need to show up for a "preliminary hearing on June 18, 2008.":eek::eek:

Well, ok, just made it up. \:-)

Really bored this evening.:(

Surf's Up was great! Shorter than I had hoped, but still good. I agree that Crush and Joe Chicken = Same person :p
"The Last Castle" was really good.
"Fight Club"
"Clockwork Orange"
"Man Of The Year"
"Shawn of the Dead"
and last, but not least "Stranger than Fiction"

Spirited Away is excellent, kinda long though. Don't know if it's the dubbed voice, the main male character's voice was a little feminine for me, and I thought he was a "she" until very end. :p

Shaun of the Dead is funny, but Hot Fuzz is hilarious! I couldn't stop laughing from beginning to the end.

My wife made me watch "Nausicaa of the valley of the wind" a little while ago. We watched the whole thing in japanese, it was actually a decent movie. It was my wife's favorite movie once she was a little kid. She said she wanted to be nausicaa and wanted to fly like her. I think she even cried at certain parts of the movie:D

"Grandma's Boy" was like one of the funniest movies I never heard about...Hot Rod is the same way...never heard of em but I was laughin my ass off!
"City of God" was amazing....pretty long but great story about the worst neighborhood in Brazil....if you like these types of movies watch Takeshi Kitano's "Brother" and John Woo's "The Killer"...
"Old Boy" had a really nice twist to it, very disturbing, great korean film!

I'd also recommend a movie called "Audition:
