read and unread threads

On other forums that Im on, an unread thread will stay unread untill I read that thread or I click a button outside that forum that pretty much marks all threads in that section as read.

This forum though... It seems to mark all the threads as read if I stay on to long. It wont show me updated posts.

That make sense to anyone? am I the only one that has this issue?

Yeah, it sometimes happens to me too. I recommend the quick menu's "Live Feed" and "Today's Posts" tools.

yea, those are no help. lets put it this way. I made this thread, and went back to the main forum screen there were about 20 new posts. I left my computer for 10-15 min came back, checked on my post in here. went back to the main forum screen. now there are only 5 new posts. I clicked the "new posts" tab.. yea, only 5 I havnt been on the forum for over a day and have only looked at 2 threads. there should be hundreds of new posts.

Its just anoying when I'm following a thread and it ends on lets say, page 3 I come back and click the new post button outside the thread and it sends me to page 7. I have to go back through all the pages trying to find where the last post is that I read..

You can always subscribe to the thread that you want to keep tabs on.. that's what I do
