I think they start out with a set amount of credits.

But I think if your planning on finding anyone, you need to give us more info then that.

Nick Centala is a California native. Nick is an artist and he displayed his art at Ryubo Department Store in August, 2007. He is 5'10, brown hair, great lips, and a wonderful smile.

Um, maybe a little more then what he looks like. Such as his relationship to you, why he would be in okinawa, and where in okinawa is he staying (if you know that information).

I do not know where he is...that's why I'm looking for him. He is an artist. That's it!! He was in the military but that was many, many, many years ago. I'm assuming if you don't know his name than you don't know him. I have known him for about 14 years and haven't talked in 7. I don't know what else or how else to describe him...I will attach a picture when I can. Thanks for any help....

Lemme know if he finds you. I was in the military with him in the early 90's. We even bunked in the same barracks. I know he bounces back from San Diego which might be where he is now. I haven't spoke with him in years but he is one cool dude and I would love to say whats' up.

Here's an article JU ran on him when he had his exhibit in Naha. Also his picture.

http://www.japanupdate.com/?id=7855

As he's into ceramics, maybe folks fown in Tsuboya in Naha or Yomitan pottery area would know about his whereabouts.

Tradesurfer, I will pass on whatever information I find on Nick. Will he know you by this name? Do you live in San Diego or Okinawa?

Stalker? Bounty Hunter? Hitman? Your Baby's Daddy?

Why are you trying to find him?

Any reason he don't want to be found by you?

I called the Hitoyoshi City office this afternoon and asked about him however no one there knew or heard anything about him.

I also passed on the information about his website and it didnt draw any positive response. I left my cell phone number with the town office and they said they would contact me if they had any further information.

Yet they said it could take some time as well. Sorry about that.

I do need for you however to please send me a PM just in case I get any calls from him or anyone who knows him explaining why you are interested in finding him.

Please let me know soonest. Thanks

Are your sure it is just not some jeasous girlfriend, trying to keep you away from him? I'm sure there would be an article somewhere if that really happened. According to the web he is still in Okinawa, but nothing about him dying..

I found this info.. The cofee shop above, had a gallery of his hand made cups at one time. The add was posted on May 2007. Maybe you can call the cafe and see if they know how to get in touch with him.

Really? I thought this forum was about imposing your views on others.:scared:Effectivly belittling them into submission, or causing them to ignore you all together!:D :thumbup1::thumbup::thumbdown:Either way, the person doing the belittling is never wrong!:star::old::mad:

Good one!

But I think P_chan was thinking about some of the threads that involve debates around a serious subject. Anyone is just as free to go somewhere else as to join in. Nice thing about the internet, IMHO - it's not really about winning or losing.

Well said, no matter how hard it is at times to forget, particularly in the "heat of battle".

Oh, yeah, and have your day ruined in feigning serious discussions on sex, politics and religion with mostly insubstantial, insignificant pseudo entities.:(

How about passing judgment on and dismissing the whole bunch of them as lunatics without a life. :argh14:

Life's too short and, with the glass houses we all live in, it would be foolish to caste stones!

Better to find missing persons, share knowledge and info around in this forum, built up friendships and enjoy a relatively pleasant life in a subtropical island with a rich culture - quite the envy of many others.

P_Chan my reply was tongue in cheek as well......however there is a serious side to it all as well I guess. Taking myself too serious here today, gotta learn to chill a bit more:o

But seriously, those times of debate with loonies are in the past. To each his own opinion. I'd rather just get involved with the real meet, greet and bash. :thumbup1::thumbup1:

Like I said, there are no winners and losers, but if you feel like you've come out on the bottom so many times that you're going to stop making intelligent posts, I for one will be sorry.

Not being sarcastic.

Maybe this needs to be in a different thread, seeing as how the "guy" that was being looked for was found.:D

And personally I am happy that I got to play a small part in helping someone looking for someone else.

Gives me that warm fuzzy feeling like one gets after guzzling down a bottle of champange<3 <3:D

LOL. I wasn't referring to you or anyone in particular. Don't worry for me. Never was at the bottom of anything. And in real life, I'm on top of my game. Hope you are too.

If you find him just tell him Donnie says hello. We were in the military together and I live in Washington State. I am stoked that he is gaining notoriety for his artwork. It looks awesome. We were pretty good buddies so he should get on this board since he loves Japan so much. I was originally just looking up old friends on myspace but I didn't see him there so...
