High scores in the arcade= Credits

dk are you reseting the scores on the arcade every month?

If so maybe their should be a prize for every high score holder on every game.
Lets say 1000 points for 1st and 500 credits for second. I think this would increase playing on the arcade. I also think this would be fair since their is going to be crdits given for pictures.

I think the credits for high scores idea would be nice. But only if he did it once a month. Maybe right before he reset he scores he could close down the arcade and figure out who gets how many credits.

I saw him last time he posted that highlight thread with all the high scores on it... that wasn't really an automatted thing. I think that it would take him some time to get all the right people their money,

But I guess since you have just about all the high score there Fonze... it should be easier.:D

Right now, you win credits every time you beat a high score. Let's just keep it at that. The casino will be where the real money is. It'd add hours of work-time to my life every month to do this, unfortunately.

If I find an easier way, maybe. Thanks for the suggestion though. It might be possible eventually. Especially if someone wants to step up to update that high-score list for me every month.

You know that I have a credit/gambling problem... I wouldn't really mind submitting a list every month to you with the names and credits to award... Just putting my name in the hat for any help you might need

I beat one of the high scores and did not receive any credits for it. Plus this "blurb" shows up and there is no place to "pay" for the game when a high score is made.

However, to receive jackpot Credits you need to pay the game cost.


Not all the games have jackpot credits right? For example; and I may be wrong here, because I never saw any place I could actually pay for the game after I beat the high score. ToyChest Mahjong doesnt have it does it? Nor the "regular" mahjong either.

So are you going to acredit me some credits now because I got the high score? (Please.......:eek::D)

Thanks for the offer. I'll keep both you and Fonze in mind with this. If one of you can keep the high-score list up-to-date every month and remind me to clear scores on the first and the other can send me a PM once a month based on that list telling me how much I need to credit each of the winner's accounts, that'd help out a ton and we will be able to do this. Would you guys mind splitting duties on that?

You guys can collaborate and find a way to help each other get the job done faster if you want. Like, the high-score list will take considerably more time to create than the list of how many credits I need to reward to the winners, so if you guys want to split the high-score list down the middle as well as help each other with the second list as well, it'd probably be more worthwhile for both of you.

Anytime a game is loaded--unless you have an arcade pass--you automatically pay 25 credits. Those credits go into the jackpot for that individual game. If you beat the high-score, the jackpot should have automatically been deposited into your account if there was anything in the jackpot. If you were the first person to play the game and you won the high-score, there'd be nothing to deposit into your account. Usually, the jackpot is only a few hundred credits, so it'd be easy to not notice the credits being added to your account.

If you're on an arcade pass, the jackpots always show as "none". Did you buy an arcade pass for the week? Chobi has a pass, so the jackpot doesn't go up when she plays, and I don't know of too many people who play the mahjongs though...

So if im reading this right each champ will get 1000 per hih score correct? No credits for 2nd and 3rd?

Im down if mad hatter is or i could do it alone. I am at home all day:).

One other thing I dont think that 1st, 2nd and 3rd should go on the hall of fame. I know that sounds bad especially since i have 11 high scores but that just seems like it takes to much time and rewards mediocrity. If im wrong im sorry. I think only the 1st place should see recognition being that it will be reset every month.

The other thing i was thinking was rewarding the top championship holders but i like your idea dk.
