Here's a look into what the future may hold for TVs. Its using a new technology that should be hitting the market with next generation Flat screen TVs. The new technology is called OLED or organic light-emitting diode
Here's a look at OLED.

Here's a look at the flexible TV screen
UNBELIEVABLE!! Flexible Screen Or Tv COOL!!! Video

By the way they also have Speakers that work using a thin plastic film as well. Kind of looks like a document protector that emits sounds as clear as any speaker out there today. Even while you're bending it! There are plans to combine the two technologies in hopes that one day you can have a TV with speakers all on one film you can roll up and take with you. Wow man, just wow!:)

I remember reading about these several months ago. It will definitely make for some interesting uses.

I still don't even have a flat screen yet. I need to get rid of my big ol' TV... Out with the old, in with the really, really new.

I still have the old bulky 32". The wife has begged for a plasma or LCD, but I keep saying that as long as this one is working, why buy a new one?

(that's the environmentalist in me saying that...the man in me wants a 50" plasma!:D)

Yea, same here. 42" of beautiful glory.
My buddy just bought a 46" and like to joke that his TV is bigger than some of the cars...which isn't too far from the truth, lol. I saw someone in our tower bought a 51" though! Crazyness.

I remember this when they were inventing it... my A+ instructor couldn't stop talking about it... I think it was 1998 when they were just coming out with GPS in a car at cost about $6000 (indash in a BMW).
I remember all this because I had to do a report on it.
