Do you think the Steelers are for real, or a flash in the pan?

They're my team, but they really pissed me off today,

That flea flicker was beautiful though wasn't it? The Steelers were caught with their pants down...happens all of the time. They didn't prepare well enough for a team that had nothing to lose.

If they would have played the Steelers this past week, it could have happened, but it won't this week. It isn't hard to get up for a Monday nighter, even if you're playing a winless team.

It'll never happen, the Colts are weak. They are vanilla flashes in the pan. They won't win it again this year. If I were to bet, the Steelers are the only other team in the AFC that could win it. Their defense is the reason why,

Samy,
The steelers were not so bad with parker...Big BEN cannot do it on his on...They are done and they will get smashed by the colts when they play...Manning had a rough few games, bt is back to normal now. Wayne is having his career best year and the colts will meet the pats again to determine the S.B.champs once again...give up on your steelers

Not going to man. Personally, Willie Parker is an awesome running back, but I think Najeh Davenport better suits our needs. He's a power back, kinda like Jerome Bettis, but faster. He lines up at receiver and catches TD's, only has one 3rd down not converted this year, and is considerably fresh, seeing as how he hasn't been the starter all year. Najeh actually has had more long runs than Fast Willie this year. If we get a good back to back him up, watch out.
Another thing is, Ben won the Super Bowl before he even stepped it up as a QB. The guy is awesome under pressure. You don't have to believe me now, but wait until you're eating your words. Dude, I'm not saying they're going to the Super Bowl, but they will be in the AFC Championship Game, and I know we owe New England a few of those--It's time for payback,

The Steelers will not make it to the AFC Championship...they can't. They lost to the Jags at home, and now they lost Parker. Ben is pretty good, but he's no Brady or Manning.

Doc, hate to say it, but they have all won championships. Additionally, Ben started hotter than any other QB to ever hit the league. He wasn't voted into the Pro Bowl because he's terrible. Ben is a very good young QB. Probably better than Romo, and just a notch below Manning and Brady. You gotta give him props, dude. He's going to be a great QB for years, and eventually land right in the Hall of Fame. The Steelers will make it to the AFC Championship, and it will be because of Ben. He makes everyone around him better. When the Steelers are down, I never count them out, and that's because of Ben. He has game-changing ability.
Also, they lost to the Jags with like one minute left, and I think Najeh Davenport can be better than Parker right now because of his size and freshness. The dude hasn't really started all year. He has fresh legs, while the rest of the NFL doesn't,

You imply it. What do want me to say, it's not like I can hear the inflection in your voice,

Your correct all the way okiprince. I dont think the steelers should have even made it but they did because of their schedule. Thier defense allows to much points and the offense struggles. I think the chargers have a great underdog chance of going to the AFC champ game or the Jaguars. But Samy is a die hard so, Samy dont quit believing.

Samy, I am not a die hard Jags fan. I am a football fan. No particular team that I care for enough to call myself a die hard fan, not in the age of free agency, but that is the only age you know.
I will cede that on paper Pitt has the best defense, hard to argue that one, but the offense is not as good as you think.
25th in total offense, behind teams like Cleveland, Minnesota, Washington, and Houston! Add to that the line has given up 47 sacks this year (5th highest total in the league) and that spells trouble for Big Ben!
