Yes, Happy B-day indeed, Mickey! You and Disney have done more for anthropomorphising animals and showing us (though most don't notice) our moral schizophrenia than any other. I support that. Good job.
Also, nothing like commodifying fantasy and dreams, create something a child wants, but deny them access to it if they don't have the money to buy a ticket for it. Economic lesson at an early age is good for all to usher in reality. Ironic that that rides on a world of fantasy.

"...When Walt was younger he was hired to work at the Kansas City Star newspaper. He was later fired from the paper because of lack of creativity..."
Not bad for a guy with a lack of creativity.
Here are some fun facts about Walt Disney (http://www.hiddenmickeys.org/Secrets/Walt.html) which you may or may not have known.

Wow, next year's celebrations at the Disney theme parks should be awesome! :w00t: I recall having a Mickey Mouse print of the 60th birthday celebration somewhere. Regardless of folks say about Disney being the devil incarnate, I always liked their movies and such. I never thought of them as political first; doing so seemed to sully it all somehow.
