Has Chili's lost its luster? I took the family out there on Saturday and the only thing that I enjoyed about it was that I didn't have to wait to get inside (1st time ever!)

The service was poor and so was the food. The waitress brought over dirty plates for the appetizers, WTF! This was only the 3rd or 4th time we have eaten there, but I doubt that we will return.

Eating on base is just not worthwhile! We tried Macaroni Grill last month for the first time and that will also be the last!

I don't think chili's was ever that great. I don't see why so many people eat there. The food is expensive and it's mediocre at best. The drinks are expensive as hell too!

Macaroni Grill just plain sucks if you ask me. They should have brought a buffalo wild wings over here, that would do awesome.

I agree! We went to Chili's when we first got here, the service sucked, food was cold, no service. We never went back, I complained and got gift certificates to come back, we never did until a year later, tried it again, its was my daughter's b-day, I kept reminding the server, it sucked worse cuz my parents were visiting, and them complaining about the service out loud, people starring at us. We ended up walking out.

We tried chili's tooo, NEVER got there! I have noticed all the staff is always talking to each other at the counters/registers.

Macaroni Grill doesn't know how to cook! Service is too slow, everyone is hiding! Its like they have to walk to the ocean or somewhere to get water or make ice tea.

I rather stick with the Japanese restaurants! Atleast they know how to please the customer and know what it takes to keep having you come back!

We don't eat on base!

I was never impressed with Chili's food here or stateside. I like Chili's corn-on-the-cob though. The only food I like at MacGrill is the fried cheese with pesto sauce. We typically eat off base.

I prefer off base, hardly ever do I eat at Chili's or Macoroni Grill only because both are expensive and it's a waste of time. Instead of taking my friends on base we always explore and then rate the restraunts out in town. It's a lot more fun to explore, I wish the people who crowd around outside chili's waiting 45 mins. to an hour for a table could be out somewhere else eating a good meal for a great price!

Not to mention drinking Y50 beer out in town. That's always fun.
