Recently if I just try to look at a post without bothering to log-in
it tells me I have exceeded my limit or something to that effect. Anyway
I have to log-in to read a post every time - that is what it is telling me.

How could I have reached my limit?

You reach a limit after reading ten threads. This is there to encourage registrations and less lurking. Looks like it's working.

It's a new plug-in I installed on Saturday night. I'm very pleased with it. :)

I think this will help membership and content grow.

If someone is already logged in, they may be more apt to think, "What the hell. I can hurry up and type a quick reply to this point someone has made."

When people are not logged in, sometimes they may be thinking, "I want to reply, but man, in a really hurry and just don't want to spend the 10 seconds to log in and out again, so I won't."

I sent you 1000 just for being you. :) And you have a dinosaur in your avatar. That's pretty cool.

Yes, but isn't Nessie a dinosaur?

Well, some say she is and some say she isnt. And there are others
who say she is just a giant eel with tyres wrapped around it.

You know some of the time I can read a post without logging in and some of the time I can't!

Guess the computer just isn't as clever as it thinks it is:)

It's probably a daily limit or something. I'm not too familiar with this plug-in yet.

Our middle son is hell bent on taking a trip to prove that Nessie is real! He just recently checked out a book from the school library and now that is his mission in life. :argh3:
