What is your favorite christmas movie?

With christmas just around the corner I thought this would be a good topic. That and Temp reminded me of my favorite christmas movie:D

My favorite, and the all time best christmas movie would have to be A Christmas Story!

I've always watched that one since I was a little kid and I loved it. The guy who wrote the story grew up in my town, Hammond Indiana. It was his childhood christmas growing up in a steel mill town. The first scene where raplhie is looking in the store windows was supposed to be my downtown area. It used to look like that, but not anymore, so once they filmed it they had to film that part Gary Indiana. Even the neighborhood he lived in and the school he went to looked like my neighborhood and grade school. It was filmed in my neighborhood so it just kinda reminds me of home once I watch it I guess.

A close second would have to be Christmas Vacation. Just a funny ass movie:thumbup: It has always been a tradition in my house to watch both A Christmas Story and Christmas Vacation at the family party on christmas eve. I've got my copies to continue on the tradition:D

I love "A nightmare before Christmas".

I never really cared for the cheesy, sappy Christmas movies.

Elf would probably be my second.

I like the Grinch who stole Christmas, both the old animated version as well as the movie version.

I also like the old claymation Rudolph and such movies, probably because of the memories associated with watching them as a kid.

Elf is awesome, I need to buy that one too. I always liked the claymation ones too once I was little, rudolph would have to be my favorite claymation christmas movie.

White Christmas (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0047673) is my favorite. I like Christmas movies in general: Miracle on 34th street, Nightmare Before Christmas, The Santa Clause, A Charlie Brown Christmas, A Christmas Carol, The Muppet Christmas Carol, Scrooged and (lest we forget that holiday favorite) Die Hard. ;)

I love the Claymation ones, my favourite is the one with Santa and the kids in the mean town who werent allowed to have toys. I cant wait for ABC Family to start showing them. Elf and The Grinch are my son's favs and they grew on me.

A Christmas Story! Loved the whole Red Rider BB gun story line.

One of my favorite scenes in that movie is once they go to the chinese restaurant for christmas dinner. That one, and the one where he beats the crap out of that bully:thumbup:
