Oooooooh. In that case, I was watching this one movie on SkyPerfect called "Diamond in Paradise". Or at least that's the title the Japanese gave it. Not bad. Pierce Brosman or whatever his name is. :D

It's actually worth renting/watching.

Selma Hayek (sp?) is in it. Man... We need a whistling smiley.

Oh, I also blew an hour tonight watching some movie called "Ultraviolet". Holy crap, save your money. Garbage in a box. It was almost a good story with a very low budget. Right story, wrong director, wrong writers, wrong actors.

Last night was a first, cant really complain because it is the first time it ever happened. Get home from work, turn on the computer and can't get on line. I call NTT, seems like somewhere in the connection somewhere the fibre optic line was cut. They apologized and promised to get right on it first thing in the AM.

It was fixed sometime this AM, I turned on my computer at 7AM and everything was back to normal.:D

I was just playing FIFA 08. A new feature was added on so that you can do the "Be a pro" mode online with friends, which really makes the game interesting and very fun!

I was playing final fantasy tactics for PSP. I'm finally almost a dark knight! It's the newest and hardest job class to get! I need to master the knight class (level 8 and learn all it's skills) and master the black mage class (takes forever! thank god for JP boost) then I need to get level 8 in the geomancer class, ninja class, and samurai class. Oh and you also need to kill and crytalize 20 enemies. I've got all the prerequisites done, except for samurai, I'm only a level 5. But I wasn't paying attention and I got level 8 in monk too, thinking I needed it, so I wasted a bunch of time:(

Did they come out with a new tactics? Or is this the really old one? I haven't played either but I really want to try... Maybe it's time for me to buy a PSP...

It's a re-release of the old one, and i would suggest picking it up. On the PSP it's called final fantasy tactics: war of the lions. It's a really good game and my old PS1 copy had 100+ hours on it. The only bad thing about the re-release is the animations are slowed down a bit.

They mad a new one called final fantasy tactics advance for game boy advance too. It wasn't bad, but no where near the original. They are making a new one now, it's for the DS: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Final_Fantasy_Tactics_A2:_Grimoire_of_the_Rift
I don't know much about that one though.

Hmm, so to play all of these, I'd have to buy a PS1, a PSP, a Game Boy Advance, and a DS? :(

Anyone got any recommendations? I don't want to buy any more games for my Japanese PS2. It's time for me to pick up an English system and stop forcing myself to try to read Japanese menus and pretending I'm enjoying myself.

All you have to get is a psp and a DS. The DS will play FFTAdvance and FFTAdvance 2 (which isn't out yet). The psp will play FFT:war of the lions, which is the orginal, so no need to get the original for PS1.

Oh and to stay on topic, I was playing FFT:WOTL. I finally made it to dark knight:D Too bad I don't have any JP to teach him his techniques:(

Well, we went Yomitan for my yakisoba fix, then the wife and daughter in-law decided to go out shopping at Jusco, a couple of 100 yen stores, came home and read for a while, and then dumped some of the pic's we took onto the computer.

Downloaded, and watched the latest episode of CrankyGeeks, and finally arrived here on the forums.

We had to celebrate Thanksgiving early, since our son wanted to eat turkey before he had to go back to his ship. But we wish all of you a "Happy Thanksgiving!!!!:first::first::first:"

Watching Lion King 2 with the kids and pounding brews as fast as I can. Disney is a buzz killer sometimes. Especially when one of the critters dies.
