I swear, it's almost to the point where I can't even turn on my TV anymore except to National Geographic, History Channel, or a Movie Channel. Every TV show on Fox or AXN these days all seem to be the same exact show. NCIS, Numbers, Bones, CSI, etc. It seems like every time I actually want to get away from my computer and watch TV nothing good is on the movie channels and this crap is on Fox. Every time. If it's not this, it's Simple Life... Give me a break... We only need maybe TWO of the same show!

Reality TV isn't any better. Every show is just another spinoff of survivor... People take recycling way too seriously.

Each one of those shows I've listed above is ok by itself. But come on. Four? FOUR? DO WE REALLY NEED FOUR? This is what I think about Fox...

It's true! One type of show will become super popular and then all the other television networks will follow suit with their own versions.

I agree with you, I can only watch channels like the history channel. Too bad I don't even get that.:crying:

TV shows are like the lyrics in songs these days. Unoriginal and with no content. What every gets the drones glued to their TV set and makes a quick buck.

There's very few things I can watch too. You guys ever see "Cold Case Files" or "First 48"? I like them. They're real cop shows.

Numb3rs is slightly different from CSI. Num3ers uses math to bring in the bad guys.
We watch Numb3rs and the CSI's, we don't watch those other "imitator" shows. :)

But I do laugh at how many shows are out there that are so stinkin similar. See your point, that is for sure.
Both tv and movie writers need to get more original!!!

Yea, we used to call Tuesday nights, crime night Tuesday since they played 4 crime shows back to back between spectrum and prime.

I used to wated the original Law & Order and Law & Order SVU. Then the original CSI when that started. Then at one point I think I overloaded and just stopped watching them all. I will confess though I watch Bones because I have a thing for David Boreanas(sp?).

I used to watch Law & Order at lunch, but then there was that law suit so they stopped showing it. What lawsuit you ask? The one Chuck Norris issued for the copyrights for his left and right leg :p

I always liked law & order SVU. Too bad they don't show it at lunch time anymore:crying:. That was my favorite thing to do on my lunch break.

Kinda off topic but Sesame Street had spoffed Law and Order SVU. It was called Law and Order Special Letters Unit. All the muppets looked just like the real characters..they even had the gavel sound to go with it.
