View Full Version : Vonage sucking or is it Konnect?

Ive had mediatti since I got here the end of July and shortly after that set up Vonage. Ive had no problems at all with either service except Mediatti being slow because of the number of users on it. I switched to Konnect and this past weekend several times Vonage would just stop working. I would pick up the handset and would get a message saying that there is no number assigned to this line or some crap like that.
Anyone else having issues with Vonage or is it Konnect? Seems obvious to me and I will probably cancel Konnect, but I want to check first.

My only issue lately is that when i go on cartoon netwoek.com for games that my kid likes it is slow as hell.

No problems with mine. If you are running lots of web apps. or downloading movies or music, it will screw with your Vonage. You are using bandwith that Vonage needs. You can log in to your Vonage account and adjust how much bandwith Vonage uses.

I disconnected the router from the line, so the only thing running was the vonage router...still worked like shit. Its Konnect on Futenma. I guess they had an issue with some router...unfortunately it still isnt working. Glad I still have Mediatti for now though.

for your phone get skype..very very cheap. skype.com and for internet, i got mine off base and it is fast as hell...
