It's going to take me a few days to explore every little thing that Dk has created,but from what I've seen so far, it was well worth the wait.

To be accurate, NBTP, dk hasn't 'created' anything here, other than tweaking default commands. VBulletin is just purchased by JU. The programmers at VBulletin created everything you see here.

One thing, and it's only a very small thing Dk. Don't you think that our old circle should be listed as senior members? And this has nothing to do with how much control we would have as it relates to the site. Just a nod to those of us who stuck with you all of these years.

I don't think they should. All it is going to do is immediately put up a clique. I would hope that dk would not give a nod to this. Those who are old regs know who you are and can take comfort in that between yourselves without needing it highlighted to everyone. No reason why everyone can't start out fresh and on equal footing, so to speak.

Yeah, I didn't create this. There's no way I could ever single-handedly create something of this magnitude. You should see the database backend behind this. It's incredible.

The titles are based on how many posts you have on THESE forums. So, at the rate most of us post, it won't take long to become senior members. Here's the figures just FYI.

As is obvious I am Boost, a fairly long time member and fan of the JU Forums. As far as being a poster, I am just as comfortable debating in a civilized manner as I am just BS'ing with old friend. Looking forward to the many future posts even though time isn't as abundant as it used to be.

Yeah, you could probably find a creepy house out here. But nothing like you'd find in the states. Everything is square and made of concrete here. And there are dozens of cats out on the streets everywhere. So, yeah, I take it back. You probably wouldn't be able to be a crazy cat lady here.

I finally registered after lurking on these forums for such a long time. I consider Okinawa my home, even though I'm currently in the U.S. I've lived on Okinawa for 14 years, which is over half of my life. I hope and pray that a new career will take me back there in the near future. I left island last November, and I have yet to overcome homesickness. Looking forward to adding some color to these discussions.

Please try to add some talking points on things that interest you, and that will generate responses. I think when we all do that we will create a very exciting place here.

The way the forum was running before was just pretty close to lawlessness and anarchy. Now everything has orderly categories for a much better navigational experience, and like said above, the ad bots seem to not be able to get in. Also, in the past, dk, would have to be absent at times from the forums for what not reasons (work, travel, family, Pako etc...), and then during his absence it could get even worse. With a few extra eyes watching for those purposely intent on disrupting things, action can be taken even when dk is just not around.

I think the whole thing will get even better when the new skins come into being.

btw, I still have not voted.

I have no clue what mine was. I had no idea how forums worked, this was my first. So, I just randomly jumped into some thread, probably food related and started posting. No one ever called me on not introducing myself and the rest is history.
