No shit. It looks like the Rockies got to much rest and got rusty.

The news here today actually said........
have you ever suffered the embarrassment of having your pants pulled down and being spanked on national tv as well as in front of thousands of live fans?

I think it's in the bag already. 4 or 5 games.

I agree. Worse case scenerio if they lose, at least the Yankees never made it.

Shilling didn't look so good today! Gotta wonder how that shoulder was.
Okajima was lights out though!
I wonder how things will go in the thin air in Denver...not to mention the cool temps!

The Sox are getting it done with young rookies...not the big bats. That is what impresses me about yesterdays win. Pedroia is seeing the ball great and knocking it all over the field!

So were the Sox to much for the Rockies or did the Rockies straight choke?
Cograts Red Sox fans.

I wouldn't say that they choked. They couldn't get the bats going at all at home. That could be due to the lack of postseason appearances (doubtful since they swept the divisional) or it could be because the Sox pitching was spot on.
Colorado's pitchers didn't do a bad job...nice outings for the most part...but the Sox seemed to put the ball in the right spot. Not to mention that Boston is great at working the counts and getting pitchers pitch counts up quickly!
Congrats to the Sox...and nice job by Colorado even getting there. I remember hearing for years that there was no way for them to ever make the playoffs, and that it was death for any pitcher to go there to play...People are thinking otherwise now!
I'll also throw out there that Francona managed perfectly during the series! He's 8-0 in the World Series!

8-0 in world series = big bonus.
