I like watching the English Premiership mostly. But any soccer game is a good one. World Cup of course...not a league, I know...but still.
I'm a Chelsea fan myself. How about you?
Oh, and lol P_chan.

well when I was younger I liked the Mexican league but now I don't real like a team. I do love watching world cup action but besides that if i see a good game i'll watch. European soccer is exciting. I've watched some MLS but not much.

I used to watch soccer once I was little, but I don't do it much anymore. I really stopped watching all sports on tv all together. Except women's volleyball:D

You are the only one who keeps up with soccer, Turtle. :p HA!
I just never got into it. I played as a kid, but didn't like all that running back and forth only to get kicked in the shins and pushed into the dirt. Then again, I mostly played with American kids. They're mean little buggers.

lol, yes, yes they are. I don't play. I wish I could, but I just haven't gotten around to it.
I love watching and of course playing it on the 360 :P

You know they were actually having a little debate on AFN radio this morning
'Most boring sport ever - Soccer' - I really couldn't believe my ears.
I could name 10 sports more boring than soccer! I had to switch it off.

Soccer might not have tons of scoring but most boring, NO. To me golf is way ahead of soccer as boring, that is watching it.

Cricket, baseball, golf.....in that order. That's my most boring top three.
Soccer could only be boring if you don't know the rules.

Are you serious! Wow! That's nuts!
More boring sports than Soccer:
1)Curling
2)Gold
3)Nascar...turn left....turn left....turn right, j/k left again... Most people only watch it for the crashes anyways.
4)Chess
5)Scrabble
4 & 5 I consider sports cause I have actually seen championship matches on ESPN for both. No lie!

Hey you take chess off of that list there right now. Nascar blows balls.

I thought it was pretty rediculous as well. Was considering starting a new thread just to discuss that in the AFN Pulse category, but since you beat me to it in here I'll refrain from doing so. :p
I don't like sports at all, so my views are unbiased in that I just don't care for any sports. In all of them, you're either running a ball to a certain place, trying to put a ball in a net, or smack the hell out of a ball. All of them just seem pointless.
But as far as the question if soccer is the worst sport ever, I'd say no. Cricket is worse than soccer. And men's volleyball is pretty gay. Now fighting, that's a sport. I don't watch K1 or anything like it, but whenever I happen to see it on tv it's at least interesting watching people punch/kick the crap out of each other. Martial arts are pretty neat. Unfortunately, I don't have much of an atheletic build at all aside from the fact that I'm tall. So, by default, I can play basketball, but it just seems pointless. Good exercise, but pointless.
I was forced/peer-pressured to play basketball and volleyball in high school. I don't miss it at all.
Oh, and water sports aren't as pointless as ball related sports. Surfing looks fun as hell, especially on those massive waves.

I like chess as much as the next guy, but I don't think I could watch it.

For me personally, Soccer is pretty boring to watch. I think baseball is more fun to watch...IMO. To make a statement that it is the most boring sport is juts flat out stupid. Soccer is the most popular sport worldwide, it is only North America that doest follow it like the rest of the world does. I may not like it personally, but Im not ignorant to say it isnt popular or fun to watch.

Dude, an opinion is one thing, but use of that kind of language is not appreciated or tolerated. Clean it up, eh?
And as stated above, soccer is the hugest sport in the world!!! What do you have against it? Lose your girl to a soccer player or something? Grow up and keep it clean, alright?
Ooooh, I've just looked over your other 5 post...4 of which are all just degrading and bashing posts. Lighten up bro. Life isn't that bad, I promise.

Chelsea is a great club luckily they have an owner willing to open his wallet for talent-
Last summer my son was select to go to a local Chelsea camp for free and the trainers were surprised at the skill level he was at for his age. They were calling him John Terry Jr after his first hr there

soccer rules..., it is brutal, beautiful, and can consume you...like baseball, football, hockey, basketball, horse racing, boxing..etc..
dont understand how other people who watch sports dont understand this. really it really confounds me...seeing atheletes who lay it all on the line, is the greatest thing...
am following fc ryukyu on the net...it is unfortunate that the site is only in japanese. there are 15 in the league, and am hoping that they progress upwards, and am following the season...even if it is just to see the final score of the fixtures....:first:

there is a place in Naha right off of Kokusai Dori that is a soccer bar/restaurant. it is pretty cool. there are other places in naha that are like this. Japanese, Americans, and Brits, and Canadians frequent these places. Pretty sweet hang out all the soccer you want. Jerzeys or team pennants are out side the cafe

Beckham is way past his prime. The best that come to mind, IMO, are C. Ronaldo, Henry, Kaka, Rooney, Ronaldinho, Van Nistliroy(sp), and Keane.

Last I knew, Bek-ham was never near the top. Yes he was good. Wasn't "elite" like some of the others mentioned. It just happens that he is a freakin prettyboy (not that I wouldn't mind having honies throw themselves at me in every country I went to) who had a wife who was hot before she turned into frankenstein. Me personally, if I was beks, I'd kick her skanky butt, well, bony butt now, to the curb and go looking for a real woman. But hey, that's just me if I was world famous and richer than sin.
EDIT: By the way, when's the next World Cup? Isn't it every 4 years or something? Last one I remember was in 01 or 02 and I was in Thailand. It was awesome because damn near all the games were broadcast. Not like here where if Japan isn't playing then the world cup is over...
