Anyone else notice that you'll be watching a show and the voices are so soft that you have to turn up your TV half the way up just to hear it and then once it goes to a AFN commercial it's blares out! I hate this!! Argh...curse you AFN!!

Yeah, I have that problem sometimes, too.

I have it all the time with our DVD player. Dialogue is quiet but music is loud. Very strange how it changes when it is just one or the other.

we don't have a TV yet either but it amazes me how in the states i could not or would not have lived without a TV but here we really do not notice that we don't have one.

I notice it on the Pentagon Channel. when you are clicking thru the volume is fine then you hit channel 10 on base and it's loud as hell.

I notice when the station switches from a show to an infomercial. It seems as though they didn't do a very good job with the sound level on many of the commercials.

Yea, that's when I notice it most as well. Maybe we should do an ICEE complaint...maybe?

Major changes going on at AFN.

From what I hear they have a temp setup so at least they can pump the daily news, yen rates and movies out.
