I'm not talking about pets.

How many different species of animals live in your home?

I will start. Ants these mofos are unstoppable, I use to raid them and kill them and trap them and they are amazing little machines of nature. Now I just crumble a cookie every 3 weeks around 3 spots and have'nt worried about them for a year, good relationship.

Geckos:thumbup:These creatures use to freak me out, all over the walls screaching at night, cukture shock. I use to trap them and throw them outside and wife would throw them in trash. But for the last year I have grown to respect them and love there work against other bugs.

I squish spiders at every corner and have only seen one roach(dead now) also have silver fish under carpets in 2 spots.

Kinda lame topic,but hey.

The only animal living in my house is a tortoise. He's not my pet. I'm his guardian. :D

Man, I'm running out of popcorn... Everytime I see that avatar, I cry a little inside.

I have only seen one gecko since moved into my place. I see them outside, but seldom inside. Matter of fact, I rarely see anything inside my apartment. The one gecko I used to see lived behind my wall clock, but I haven't seen him in a while.

Of course I'd have the occasional wild cockroach that would wander inside my house. I hate those things, I usually bug spray them to death.

Man I gotta have at lest 4 to six living in my house at any given time.

I had one of these mofos run in my house twice when I opened the door, BIG MOFOhttp://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r160/thebossdoc83/pictures/vid004.jpg

half of my potted plant died recently. I've noticed ants have started to live in the hallowed out trunk. Not too many, I never see more then 5 at a time. If they become a problem, I'll get rid of them.

The only living things in here besides my wife and I are the scary things that mutate in the sink-food trap:barf: Ugh I have to go to battle with that thing twice a week. I'd love to have a garbage disposal :)

We're high up enough to be out of reach of most creepy crawlies. We get the occassional baby gecko. We had this bad boy (see attached pic) in the kitchen one night. I killed it by spraying it with bug spray. There are spiders outside as well, but I don't go there. We don't have any plants. I have a tendency to kill them. We had a succulent die under my care. I watered it and stuff, but alas...

I don't know the name exactly, but my husband looked it up and found that it's related to the brown recluse family. It freaked me out. I don't especially like spiders, much less the poisonous ones.

Now, how the hell did I miss this?

Anyways, right you are.

I bet the difference and thought never occurred to you on the point before I brought it to your attention. Still, though, glad it stuck long enough for you to recall and use it.

But, yes. I know you were being sarcastic.

Ants, cockroaches, gekkos, mosquitos, fleas, centipedes, leaches, and dustmites.

Visitors: Frogs, about 10 times per summer

One time visitor: Small ryukyuan ribbon snake slept under my dog.

All these animals reside with you? Where in the hell do you live at or do you close your windows?

TP have you ever killed any of these creatures?

Yes, I find them often in the house (Oh, I think I forgot spiders). I live right on the edge of a very wooded area.

Not since becoming an Animal Rightist. If they do not take care of themselves and present themselves somewhere I would rather them not be, it is nothing but a few seconds from my time to pick them up, open the window, and deposit them outside.

Except for the frogs, though, the Gekkos and spiders do a good job in "cleaning up" the place from visitors.

Any house here has dust mites though. Just go to your book case or newspaper stack, open it up under your bright dining room light and lay it on the table. They are very very tiny and if you look close enough long enough, one will eventually sucrry across the page and show itself.

let's see, when i was on guam, there were roaches and i would squash them. Then there were these giant spiders where i would scream and at the same time try to hit it with the broom and last were geckos. that didn't bother me. In california there was the brown recluse. those were scary then there was the fire ants. those hurt when they bite you or sting you. so far in oki, i haven't seen any roach in the towers except out in the parking lot. LOL.

I have an invasion of flying ants or possibly fruit flies this AM. They have an attraction to light so they are flying onto this computer monitor as I type.

I seldom see any type of animals (except for my dog) living in my house. I saw one gecko once, and the occasional wild roach will wander in from outside, but nothing else. I had a small colony of ants, but even they are gone now. Maybe it's because my apartment is so high up.

I have had that spider on my car and ended up in the car with everything shut...kids were screaming their lungs out..It freaked me out, it was as big and harder to kill in the car...We are constantly killing spiders especially those jumping spiders to the one's that won't die with fly swatter or with a shoe..

We get the red ants in our house, and the black ants upstairs, but I buy the japanese ant killer works wonders, but after a few months they will be back at a different location.

Gecko's we use to have 4 of them, but I found 6 deads one's already, I haven't seen or heard them lately.

I have had quite a number of snakes in our yard along with bats in the back of my yard hanging down.

Centipedes - I always find them in the kitchen or dining room.

Snails are all over the outside of the house and windows, there has been a few that have made it inside.

Every once in awhile there is about 10 mice along the walkway to the door.

I have only seen one centipede and that was at the park. Those things are creapy looking. We have mice but i put rat poison around there living areas and they haven't been around for a while. I like the geckos and some spiders that stay in the corners cause they help kill other things.

Ants i just crumble some kix or crackers around a few corners of the house and never have any problems with them around the house. I just got tired of fighting them.
