Cause cows don't have the ability to bend their knees correctly to walk back down.......
HOWEVER....technically you could BACK the cow back down the stairs...but that would be long and aggravating! :D Ain't winning no race doing that. :)

1. Which natural sound of an animal does not produce an echo?
a duck
4. Which plant liquid can be used as a substitute for blood plasma?
Don't know about plant product but have heard you can dilute seawater and it could be a feasible substitute.
5. Up to how many times can a piece of paper can be folded in half?
Something like 7 times if you continue to fold in half & then in half & again and again.
However, if you wanted to be a smart ass you would say only once cause then it would be folded in 1/4ths, then 1/8ths, then 1/16ths, etc.
7. With what daily activity do you burn less calories than sleeping
sitting?
8. After how many years of age do oak trees start to produce acorns?
Anywhere from 20-50 yrs production can start.
However, if health is not at peak levels an oak tree can not produce any acorns regardless of age.
12. What food item is more efficient than coffee at waking you up in the morning?
They say an apple. It gives you the quick jolt from sugars and your bodies chemical reaction to it.
Super cool trick- take a kid that is puking and won't eat and has NO energy.
Cut an apple in half, scrape out the core, then using a spoon extract the juice from the apple. Give the sick child a spoonful or two of the apple juice and wha-la they have some energy and they also have nutrients in their system to help fight the bug.
13. What are most dust particles in your house are made of?
Dead skin cells
14. The queen wanted her precious pearls cleaned, so the maid soaked them in a jar of vinegar. But the next day, the pearls disappeared and the maid was accused of stealing. It was later determined that she was innocent and that no one else stole the pearls. Why did the pearls disappear?
The vinegar dissolved them.
You also use it in cooking to dissolve bones and get the nutrients out of them when making soups or stocks.

1, 3, 5, 8, 12, 13 & 14 solved!
Hint: Has something to do with its axis
Damn I cant remember:-| Something about how Venus is different because of it's roatation or because of it's orbit. Grrr.
Oh btw thanks for picking up the ball today!
2. Does this animal live in water or on land?
It's amphibious.
Cute so it lives both on land and in the water as well.
Just guessing here because I really have no idea, I know a few mammals that blow hot air out of both ends but noone that actually breath from down there.
A salamander?

No problem.
Rotation or orbit? Getting close.
Salamander. Close. It's in the same species.

On mythbusters they had a huge piece of paper made (football field size i think) and they were able to fold it 11 or 12 times. Ordinary piece of paper can be folded 9 times...that was the myth they were trying to prove.

"Football field size" piece of paper? Ordinary piece of paper can be folded 9 times?
Here's a challenge, bud.
Get a piece of A4 or letter size paper. If you can fold it in half more than 7 times, I'll buy you your choice of a car!
If not, you buy me one! Deal? ;-)

I will forward this to Mythbusters, since they are the ones that were doing the experiment...

After you "proved" the answer I actually tried to fold a a couple of different sized pieces of paper and was only able to get to six without literally destroying the paper itself.
Learned something new today....thank you:thumbup:
Oh if it isnt a slamander then my next guess would be a turtle for the animal that breaths through its tail.
But for the life of me I can not understand why....it's just a guess.
Oh and about Venus I would guess rotation because the orbit if I remember correctly is similar to earth. But please do not quote me on that one either, it also is just a pure guess.

Muku,
You may get to 7 half folds but not more. It's a bar thing trick. I've won a few beer bets on it.
No. 2.
CORRECT. It's a turtle. :first:
:first:The other two butt breathers are dragonflies and sea cucumbers.

atb35,
No need to go to Mythbusters. Try it yourself. And bet a friend next time in a bar.

I'll give you No. 11.
CORRECT. Venus is the only planet that rotates clockwise.

(Since Venus is normally associated with women what does this tell you!)

It is the thickness of the paper that matters. There is some scientific equation as to why.
There was some girl who folded a piece of gold leafing foil ( or something of that nature) 12 times. Her teacher :thumbdown: it and so she set out in search of the scientific equation. Figured out the thickness & length needed for real paper, got some and wha-la it worked.
Her equation figured it needed to be something like 1.2 meters long and whatever thickness to work.
Kinda interesting info you never really use. :D

It has to be paper, a piece of paper.
You can take household aluminum foil and fold it in half 8, 9 times with your hands, probably more with pliers.
You can take a CGI virtual piece of paper and fold it ad infinitum to a dot.
