I'm new to the island, and found this site to be very informative, I'm sure I will have plenty of questions as I get used to the island, looking forward to swapping info with everyone.

Hello My Name as you all know is Cathleen A. Cassidy
I live in Newark, Ohio
I'm a musician of 36 years. I sing, play guitar (main instrument) the other four
instruments I just experiment on (bass guitar, drums, keyboard, piano).
The other things I do- draw art, poetry, calligraphy, songwriting.
I'm in a band. No name yet. I'm a former lead singer/guitarist for The Night Vision Band based out of Newark. I played with that band for 10 years. Traveled everywhere. It was an adventure to play with those guys to say the least. And a good learning experience as well. And now, on the bigger and better things.
the current band I'm in now, I play guitar and sing with band members Chris Deckard (keyboardist) Jim Slocum (Drummer) and Larry Branson (guitarist extraodinair) who played with Tom Petty and Heartbreakers and Willie Nelson.
I'm also an Former Marine who was stationed on Okinawa of 1991-92 at Camp Hansen and played on FEN radio and television 6 times for music. FEN radio
and television hits a broadcast of five countries mainland Japan, Okinawa, Guam, Phillipines, South Korea, and South China. And the music rotates throughout the day. I'm proud to been a part of that experience. Now, that you know who I am. I'm glad that I could get to know you on this forum.:thumbup: :w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t::thumbup::thumbup:
