View Full Version : XBOX Live NAT settings

So my modem or whatever is stuck on Medium. I have no idea what all this means, I just know that I went and got a router after talking to the guy at Mediatti. He assured me there is NOTHING wrong with their modem.....

I want to have my connection open, but I have NO control over my modem since it is owned by Mediatti....other then moving out in town, is there any way to fix this?

My NAT settings were on my router. I turned it off and didn't change anything on my modem.

Get rid of Mediatti and go with Konnect. It's $5 cheaper and it's faster. :)

I had ADSL before I got fiber. It was a helluva lot better then that crap they got on base.

I was playing co-op with a buddy who lives in the barracks and he has mediatti and just playing campiegn it was soooo choppy. I had to hold down the jump button to jump and my shots all had about 1/2 lag. Sucked big time. Go with Konnect if you live on base. It's cheaper and faster.

I called them today after I read this thread. The lady said the ADSL runs at about 3-5 m or something, compared to the mediatti crap at 1!! I will be switching asap, unfortunately, that wont be till a week from Tuesday:(

Ok, now that I have konnect, back to the original question...how do I get from Moderate to Open for xbox live?
