Hi friends, from past few months I am used to take oral pill for birth control. And this month I noticed that the period is not started timely. Is the problem is regarding with pill? I am quite worried about it. How the period will start normally again? Is there any obstacle for taking these pills? Kindly suggest me.

I highly recommend that you talk to your doctor about this. S/he will be able to tell you if your symptoms are normal for you. Each woman's chemistry is different, especially depending on the type of oral contraceptive being taken. I hope that your results are favourable.

Sometimes when you take the pills it makes you either late or early on your menstrual cycle. Like Socal said you should talk to your doctor. Sorry I take the Orthro Evra now so it keeps mine on track.

Talking with your dr would be best!
Your body adjusting, not the right pill for your body chemistry/hormone levels, not taking the pill at the exact same time each day
or not utilizing another form of birth control during the first month or two of taking your birth control & having intercourse could have resulted in a pregnancy despite taking BC.
If you have been taking BC for a while and skip even ONE day you can get pregnant.
If you do not take the pill at the exact same time each day you can have a lapse in coverage and you CAN get pregnant.
They quote some obscene rate of effectiveness....98% or something....but those are only in laboratory studies, they do not take into account the human factor.
