I used to live in Isa. There's a fantastic little coffee shop that serves up some fantastic espresso (from Illy beans). Their scones are the best on planet earth. Cheers.

Care to let me know where that is, I live near Isa, do you think it is still there?
Never heard about those scones, thanks:)

If you are traveling south on 58 past Camp Foster, the first massive four-way intersection where 81 (I think) intersects, you should make a right as though you were traveling down towards the bypass that takes you to the convention center. The second left (or maybe first) and 50 or 100 metres more will take you to this coffee house. It is on the right side of the street on a corner lot. You'll likely see the orange-ish smiley face mark.
Cheers.

hmm, I used to work just near there, and I never saw any coffee shop
around there. Oh, I do know of one, but I thought it was pretty new, went looking for lunch one day and they said all they had was scones. I'll
go and check it out sometime, thanks.
(p.s. that's a really scottish name!)

Yeah, I think we're talking about the same place. Every single variety of scone this place serves is ambrosia. The trekk from Naha, though, is too far to enjoy them each day.

Hey IanBrody,
I went to the scone shop yesterday, and you were right they are the best I have ever had. Only thing which would put me off going back is the dour saleslady who could not smile, I told her I had been told they sold the best scones in Okinawa and she could not even break a smile, unfriendly and unhelpful.
The camembert one was 'out of this world'!
