How many of you users are using Hikari Fiber from NTT?

I have a few questions.

How much is your monthly bill?

Phone is included in the bill right?

How much was your installation fee?

If you don't mind sharing this information it would be appreciated.

No problem P...I knew you would get back to me...but I figure with over 350 members, someone else must be with Hikari right.

I have hikari fibre.....

Monthly bill...I just looked for it but cant seem to find it right now, but it is somewhere around 6,000 per month.

I have separate service, so no my phone is not included with it.

Installation was free.

Thanks Muku...when I spoke with them (2 weeks ago) they mentioned that I could include the phone (would change my 098 # to a 050 though) Wondering if anyone here has done that?

DocP,

I have NTT hikari with OCN (not the cable tv co).

Costs about 6,000 yen per month including modem /router, ip phone, caller id, modem rental, local phone toll, etc.. Plus 1,300 yen billed separately for ISP services by OCN.

Everything works with a 098 area code tel no.

(The NTT router has a single ethernet port. You can hook up a wireless lan separately. As you know, has to be security-enabled. I can't believe the constant attacks in this place reported in my firewall.)

Hope this helps.

Yes that helps...so I could expect around 7,300 yen/month, and no more seperate phone bill?
