24hrs Kadena PX

I heard the Kadena PX will be open 24 hrs a day from now until 25 November.

surprised this wasnt better advertised...I didnt know they changed their hours until my wife told me last night. In addition to the main store the bookstore, coffee shop and Burger King are also open.

Thanksgiving Day Hours:

BX will be open from 9am to 6pm on Thanksgiving day

Commissary will be open until 2000 on the 25th and closed Thanksgiving

C'mon Doc P ...we are talking about AAFES here....24 hours to Take your money......besides with the exchange being what it is ...who wouldn't want to hurry up and buy some out date crap from china....also it is the end of the year..new merchandise need...so hurry up and buy...AAFES needs your money....

i dont think kadena aafes pulls in walmart type business to keep their lights on, but if so that would be cool. even extending to 2300 would be a big plus for me.

I think it's a good idea for the holiday time but year round is probably a little excessive.

Then again, some of the young women who go to the BX/food court/mall dress like street prostitutes, so that might be something the guys would like to see on a website... at least there wouldn't be many pictures of men dressed like women, excepting Halloween of course. :p

AAFES, has lived up to my expectations. I got my Windows 7 from Camp Foster, a "whole week" before Kadena started putting the software on the shelves.

Also have heard some stories from employees at the Kadena store, about the availability of game software that was delayed, so that the store would make a profit on game consoles that came with those games in the box.

I'm not sure if those stories are true, but it would not surprise me.:army:

For the most part however, the new BX at Kadena is an "Epic Fail". Just as I predicted.:old::grin1:

I have actually witnessed a service member buying the console that includes the game for about 400,- instead of waiting for the game to come out of the stock room. I do, however, not know if said service member returned the console and then bought a game.

Kadena BX is no longer open 24 hours, according to a cashier there last week. She said they weren't making enough money to justify having a cashier on duty. Ha ha! :p
