What's the strangest thing you've ever eaten, even just tried?

We started talking in the box about how Andrew Zimmern (Bizarre Foods) was eating raw goat testicles on Kokusai St., and we all agreed it was nasty and we wouldn't try it. I admitted I'd try it once if it was cooked. So, you see on TV all the time these guys like Anthony Bourdain eating testicles, ass hole, sperm, etc..that's the inspiration for this thread.

I've eaten Natto (fermented soy beans), horse sashimi (Basashi if you want to order it) which I like a lot, Uni (sea urchin and my absolute favorite).

Other than that I don't know, I like and often eat pigs feet, pig/cow tongue and ears, goya (bitter melon), chicken gizzards/liver/heart, frogs legs, Kimchee (fermented cabbage with chili and bean paste), and tofu, eel, and all sorts of sushi and sashimi but I don't find these strange.

I guess you can say eating tongue from a cow could be weird, but its cooked and it tastes pretty delicious to me. One time I ate a dozen of ants that were trap in my honey that I decided to eat it from the tap and of course the delicious glass of algae I had the other day.

Have you heard from the cake made of blood?

Oh yeah, haven't had the cake but I ate blood sausage and chiiricha (a local dish made with a mix of fried goat blood and nasty bits), I don't care for either. The most blood I like to eat is a medium-rare/rare steak or burger.

My favorite food ever may be considered wierd. It translates in English to Pig's blood stew. Popular Filipino dish. It looks like curry but black in color, it's boiled pigs blood with green chili peppers and pieces of pork. It's soooooo freaking delicious.

I have snake, horse, bear, goat, cat, dog, rat on a stick, dried bugs (multible types), rabbit (not bad for back home but people here think your nuts), cow brains, haggus, many live fish and sea creations (since living in Okinawa),bit part of this guys nose off in a fight years ago and accidently swallowed well still fighting, aligator. kangaroo, hippo, and tiger. There is more but Im too lazy to try to remember it all.

Where to start? The list is similar to CanJap's, but mising a few things :D. Balut, durian, snakes, squirels, rabbits, chicken feet (deep fried), moutain oysters, testical soup, dinaguan (pork cooked in pork blood), Awamori with squid ink (interesting the next day), dog, horse, cat, gator, jelly fish, grub worms, crickets, grass hoppers, sea cucumbers, fish eyes, goat, and a bunch of other stange oddites that I never quite learned what the hell it was, but I was laughed at for trying it.
